Umberto Straccia is a researcher at the National Council of Research of Italy. He is mainly known for his contributions in the context of Fuzzy Logic and Semantic Web Languages, such as fuzzy RDFS and fuzzy OWL and various fuzzy variants of Logic programming, and is arguably one of the founders and acknowledged as one of the major experts of this field of research.
